I’m glad Stephen doesn’t have $3 million lying around he doesn’t need.
I always found it funny that people would say, “That record/card/antique is worth x thousand dollars,” when I don’t know a person who’d pay that much for it.
Did anyone see the article about the eccentric collector that bought the wrecked (by a crew member on the way to the set) Aston Martin from Casino Royale for $350,000? I think a new one goes for around $100,000 less for that. Anyway, I imagine some museums would take parts of the collection, but they would probably expect the records to be donated.
@Rob
i had heard that, but didn’t know the details. in the dude defense, that wasn’t a stock aston martin. in addition to being completely trashed, it had a way over the top hydraulic system installed that caused it to flip and was the world record holder for times rolled over (if i am remembering correctly). that has to count for something.
We may be talking about a different ones used for the movie, here’s the link: http://www.autounleashed.com/james-bonds-wrecked-aston-martin-dbs-bought-for-350k
@Rob
I was talking about the one from casino royale. that is crazy though.
